Artist's Statement
All my inspiration comes from the ocean and its inhabitants. The urgent crisis, caused by man's abuse of our ocean environment over the last three decades, fuels my passion for painting. The destruction of marine ecosystems has advanced with dizzying speed. Only through personal knowledge and awareness can we overcome the alarming consequences of exploitation and greed. Through my work, I want people to gain an appreciation for the awesome beauty of the sea and to recognize the urgent need to protect this delicate resource.
